Burning Instructions

Before lighting your candle, always trim the wick to 5 mm using a pair of sharp scissors or a pair of candle wick trimmers. This helps to prevent build up on the wick.

Always burn your candle for 2-4 hours at a time, letting the melt pool reach the edge of the vessel. This helps to prevent ‘tunnelling’ effect. We advise on not burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Always place a burning candle on a fire-resistant surface.

Always keep the candle away from flammable items and materials and out of reach of children and pets.

We advise to avoid burning the candle in a draft. If you cannot avoid it, follow safety instructions, and turn your candle every now and then to prevent uneven burning of the candle.

Extinguishing the candle

We advise using a candle snuffer. This helps to prevent the wicks from drifting off centre.

We do not recommend blowing the candle out, as the liquid wax may splash, and glowing wick may emit a small amount of smoke.

Candle Storage

After distinguishing the candle, allow the wax to solidify and use the lid to cover the candle to keep it dust free.

Store the candle in upright position in a cool, dry place, away from direct sun.
